Vernon Allen Jr.- CFO/CEO,
Technical Advisor
Mr. Allen is a graduate of The
University of Georgia's Carl Vinson
Institute of Government, with an
Associate's Degree in Government. He has been with the company since its founding in 1973, and became the CEO after the passing of his father in 1996. He formerly was the Chairman of the Board of Commissioners in Talbot County, GA, and still remains on the Georgia Firefighter Standards and Training Council, an Executive appointment by Governor Sonny Perdue.
Karen Bisnette- Vice President
& Executive Secretary
Mrs. Bisnett was the
Secretary/Receptionist from 1973
until 1986. She was promoted to Vice
President in 1996. She graduated
from Kendrick High School 1976 and attended business classes at Columbus State University. Although she is no longer involved in the day-to-day operations of the company, she still plays an active role in the policies and procedures of the business. She now resides in Aledo, TX, where she is employeed by the Neeley School of Business at Texas Christian University.
John Newsome- Lead
Technician, Big Screen
Specialist
Mr. Newsome is a graduate of
Opelika Technical College. He studied
Electronics with Radio and TV repair
and is a resident of Fort Mitchell, AL. Before coming to work for Allen's TV he owned his on stereo repair shop in Columbus, GA. He has worked for the company since 1987 and has now become the lead technician.
Gale Morningstar- CRT
Tech Specialist
Mr. Morningstar has been involved
with Allen's TV since it was bought in
1973. In fact, he says that he bought
his first tv from the company when sales were still part of the business. Before coming to work at Allen's he served more than 20 years in the 10th Aviation Group, in the Army, as an air traffic controller, also in the Infantry. He graduated high school from Lawrence High School in Dart, OH and graduated from Columbus Technical College with a degree in Radio and Television. He has been with Allen's TV since 1990 and still continues to work part time for the company.
Elaine Whistler- Office
Manager, Customer Assistant
Mrs. Whistler graduated from Macavoy
High School in Macon, GA in 1977. She
volunteered as an event coordinator for the Air Force at a younger age. She has been with the company for eight years and co owns a company known as The Handy Handyman in Columbus, GA. She has six children, seventeen grandchildren and two dogs, Buddy and Taco.
Ashton Allen-Internet/Web

Ms. Allen is the daughter of Vernon
Allen Jr., and the granddaughter of Vernon Allen Sr. She graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business, and is also a Nursing student at Columbus Technical College.
